Check out Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Hot Ones

“This is not even a taste!” a bemused Zlatan muttered while drowning in eye sweat after digging into the Beyond Insanity hot sauce.

Something fun happened. Hot Ones, the popular YouTube show with hot questions and hotter wings, managed to book former LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who’s currently serving as a senior adviser at AC Milan. (The other day before battling Liverpool in the Champions League, Ibra declared "I am the boss and I am in charge, all the others work for me.”)

During the 20 minute segment as Zlatan fights to stay focused while consuming increasingly dangerous levels of hot sauce, we’re treated to a side of Ibra that offers warmth. Sure the arrogance and bravado is still there, and Zlatan’s basically a quote machine, but this is a larger-than-life personality seeking to connect with the audience. Or maybe it’s just the hot sauce talking? Zlatan’s still Zlatan, but he’s chill Zlatan.

Props to host Shawn Evans and the team who asked intelligent questions and clearly did their homework. Ibra had a blast despite having to unbuckle his pants at one point!
